Girl Scouts of Glowing Embers was
chartered in 1920 and is the
oldest Girl Scout Council in the
state of Michigan. With over
6,000 girls and 1,000 volunteers,
Glowing Embers is continuously
expanding and growing, currently
serving girls in Allegan, Barry,
Calhoun, Kalamazoo and Van Buren
counties. A non-profit,
volunteer-driven organization,
Glowing Embers works to inspire,
challenge, empower and nurture
girls as they navigate their way
through the troubled waters of
adolescence.
